Quiet day.

Walked up the river to the point opposite Loreley rock, where we had been the previous day.

Then walked back down the river and checked out the castle in St Goar – Burg Rheinfels. Very cool!

That night was a-ha. Like a lot of our planning, this gig pretty much fell into our laps. Firstly, Gareth is a huge fan of a lot of 80's music. In our initial trip planning, somebody had recommended Lorelei as one of the places to check out. Once we had a rough idea of where we would be at what time, we checked out any gigs that might be around and that is how we ended up at Lorelei at this time.  

Review: Good songs, well played, great atmosphere, but for a lead singer, Morten Harket has almost zero stage presence!
