We flew out of Wellington at 20:45, to hook up with the Singapore Airlines, Auckland to London flight, which left at 23:55. But not before our first incident! We were having a quiet drink at the Wellington terminal, when Gareth realised that he had left his brand new Garmin watch at home! Luckily he lives close to the airport and was able to drive home and pick it up within 20 minutes.

Smooth journey to London. Our flight out of Auckland was 30 minutes late. We had time to stretch our legs in Singapore before picking up our connecting flight.
